Our Story

Jamaica Paraplegic Foundation, Non-Profit Organization

Our story began with our founder, Mr. Errington Pellington, who became a spinal cord injury paraplegic in 1995. Despite facing additional challenges, including blindness in one eye and schizophrenia, Mr. Pellington remains committed to helping others. Driven by an unwavering spirit and deep empathy forged through personal experience, he has dedicated his life to creating opportunities for those facing similar adversities. His resilience and determination laid the foundation for our organization’s mission: to provide comprehensive support, empowerment, and advocacy for individuals with disabilities. Mr. Pellington’s journey has inspired countless others, fostering a community built on strength, compassion, and hope.
